The Moment You've All Been Waiting For - Opening Her Call!

It's Here!! It's Here!!

Her call! 

It finally arrived!

I can totally imagine the shout she let out and the dance she did around the mailbox.

It only took 11 days after the Stake President submitted her papers. Wow, that was quick. 

Her next decision was whether or not to wait and open that envelope because, unfortunately, I was at Cedar Badge, along with Eli, and wouldn't be home until Saturday evening. I am grateful she chose to wait and open it once we were home. 

Interviews Completed

Interview with the Bishop was done right after church on Sunday, 21 July 2013. He made her call the Stake President right away in order to schedule her interview with him for Tuesday evening. With each new step excitement builds.

Mission Papers are Submitted for Bishop Review

After several months of prayer and preparation, Veronica has now submitted her missionary paperwork to our Bishop. He will review it all and then next Sunday she goes in for her interview.

She says she is excited, but also a little nervous. A new adventure awaits her so I don't blame her at all.

I am excited for her and the direction she is taking at this time in her life. It will definitely be an experience she will grow from and will gain many blessings from as well.

She is a fantastic young woman and will bless many lives in whatever area the Lord sees fit to send her. He knows her and knows where she will do the most good.

The next several weeks will go by all too quickly.
